The Restoration of the Caliphate

For centuries Islamists had ambition of a global caliphate. In 1918 these ambitions suffered the biggest setback since the founding of Islam: The Ottoman Empire Fell. The fall of the Ottoman Empire marked for the first time in centuries that the Middle East was not united by an empire. Every empire that has ruled the Middle East since the days of Muhammad was (or became) an Islamic empire.

The defeat of the Ottoman Empire was seen in the Islamic world as a humiliation.The nations of the West, particularly Britain, were seen as oppressors. Middle East leaders seeking the restoration of the Caliphate, particularly Amin al Husseini, found that the defeated Germans made natural allies in their quest to restore the caliphate. Both had the same enemies and both  hated Jews. Both began the same kind of propaganda:"The West was oppressing them and occupying their lands and violent revolution was needed to throw them off ".Both practiced so-called "cleansing" of their people by murder:The Nazis by ethnic cleansing and the Islamist by religious cleansing.

The basic message of the Nazi-Islamists was simple: The West and the Jews were oppressing them and were responsible for all of their problems. In the early days Britain was the target and there was no Jewish state. Now it is America and Israel that are demonized. The accusation made by Islamists and Radical Leftists that America and Israel are the Axis of Evil is nothing more than recycled Nazi propaganda.

In addition to the West being oppressors they are also viewed as the fountainhead of all impurity and debauchery in the world. The Nazis,wanting the restoration of the Aryan master race, viewed Nazism(National Socialism) as the only answer for the world and Islamist, wanting the restoration of the Caliphate viewed Islamic civilization as the world's only hope.Both groups are willing to force their ideology on the world and murder anyone who gets in their way.

The Nazis wanted Lebensreum (living space) and that justified to them their plans to conquer the world. These plans caused WW2 which cost over 60 million lives. The Islamists want a global Caliphate,which would begin by uniting the Middle East under a single Islamic government. From this Middle East base they would export jihad and Islamist propaganda all over the world.

Islamists also believe that Islam requires and Islamic state and without an Islamic state Islam cannot exist. Therefore they will seek to set up an Islamic state wherever there are Muslims. This ultimately leads to a Global Islamist empire.

Islam wants the whole earth and does not content itself with only a part thereof. It wants and requires the entire inhabited world. It does not want this in order that one nation dominates the earth and monopolizes its sources of wealth, after having taken them away from one or more other nations. The political system in Islam is to help those it governs be successful in the practice of a right Islamic way of life. “And grant from Thee a ruling authority as an aid for me,”(17:80). An Islamic world society cannot have a secular political system. For the Islamic world to exist there must be an Islamic State.
